About the Role
We are looking for a Laundry & Housekeeping Assistant to join our busy housekeeping team at our luxury lodges resort.
The role will be primarily based in our laundry, supporting the housekeeping operation on our busiest Monday, Friday and Saturday changeover days.
You will play an important role in ensuring clean linen, guest supplies and arrival items are organised and ready for our accommodation team.
This is a practical, fast-paced role that would suit someone who is organised, reliable, hardworking and enjoys being part of a busy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Working primarily within the laundry, sorting, organising and preparing linen for our lodges.
- Organising and managing laundry efficiently during busy changeover days.
- Folding, sorting and putting clean linen away, ensuring storage areas are tidy and well organised.
- Preparing guest welcome bags and arrival packs ready for check-in days.
- Delivering linen, inventory and guest supplies to the accommodation.
- Assisting with accommodation cleaning when required, particularly during busy periods.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised laundry and storage area.
- Working efficiently to ensure the housekeeping team has everything it needs to prepare lodges for arriving guests.
About You
We are looking for someone who is
- Has a full, valid driving licence (but not essential)
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Organised, with good attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a busy, physical environment.
- Able to work efficiently and keep on top of tasks during busy changeover days.
- A good team player with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Flexible and willing to support the wider housekeeping team when needed.
