The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Reception Manager to join our lovely team where you will have full accountability for leading our dedicated Reception team and delivering impeccable family stays that are both magical and memorable.

You will oversee all aspects of guest interactions and reservations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience as soon as our guests arrive!

This is a permanent full time position at 40 hours per week, over 5 days (including weekends), with an annual salary of £32,000 per annum - plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all guest interactions, including check‑ins, check‑outs, inquiries, and special requests, ensuring a personalised and memorable experience for every guest.
  • Coordinate room reservations, and monitor occupancy levels, maximising revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage and supervise the Reception team, providing leadership and guidance. Conduct regular performance evaluations and training to enhance skills and knowledge and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to coordinate guest services and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Ensure all financial transactions related to FOH operations are accurate with full responsibility for the departmental budget, including payroll, maintaining accurate and up to date records.

To succeed in this role we are looking for

  • Previous Reception experience is essential and ideally from within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Charisma, an engaging personality with a passion for hospitality and excellent service.
  • Ability to interact with all guests, and to have fun, engaging with our younger guests.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Competent level of IT proficiency.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
