We are now seeking a talented and dedicated Restaurant and Bar Manager to join the team at Moonfleet Manor, a renowned establishment known for its commitment to excellence and exceptional guest experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for a visionary individual to set their own standards within a brand new beautiful environment.
Position Overview
As the Restaurant and Bar Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants and bar, ensuring the highest standards of service, and contributing to the overall success of Moonfleet Manor. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in restaurant management, a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and the ability to lead a team to success. This is a permanent role, at 45 hours per week over 5 days (including weekends), with a salary of Β£40,000 per annum - plus service charge and benefit package.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the restaurant team: fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. You will be responsible for hiring and supervising the restaurant team including rota organisation, ensuring payroll is maintained and processed and conduct regular team member training and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest dining experience: Work alongside the team to create an interactive, attentive, and memorable dining experience for all our guests. You will collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining areas and address any guest concerns, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Oversee day-to-day operations: Take ownership of budgets and control operational costs, stock and equipment, and implement and uphold health and safety regulations. You will work closely with the hotel management to achieve overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for creating a great team dynamic, where team development is a priority.
- A candidate who understands current industry trends and food safety standards and loves the hospitality industry as much as we do!
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with exceptional communication and service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
