Nestled in the idyllic countryside of Suffolk, the beautiful Ickworth Hotel is seeking a talented Restaurant Supervisor to join our dedicated team. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, we want to hear from you!
The Role:
As Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant and making the service for our lovely guests, big and small, perfect! You will run shifts and deputise for the Restaurant Manager in their absence, ensuring the food and beverage operation consistently exceeds our guest expectations by giving an outstanding, informal and personable family-focused service. This is a permanent role, at 40 hours per week (including weekends), with an hourly rate of £12.96, plus generous service charge and a brilliant benefit package.
What you'll do:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to uphold service standards and exceed guest expectations.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff as needed.
- Manage reservations and guest enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards in the restaurant.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food orders.
