The role
Main responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the quality and safety of the service.
- Maintaining CQC compliance and preparing for inspection.
- Leading, supporting and developing the care team.
- Overseeing care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding.
- Managing complaints and serious incidents.
- Building relationships with clients, families and local professionals.
A day in the role
What a normal shift involves
A mix of office, field and on‑call. The Registered Manager is reachable and involved not distant from the care being delivered.
Who we are looking for
What we look for
- Significant experience in a regulated care setting.
- A Registered Manager's award or equivalent, or working towards one.
- The leadership to set a standard and the patience to maintain it.
- CQC knowledge and the confidence to be inspected.
Experience: Substantial experience in care management, including CQC-registered services.
Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is expected.
