Your role: We are looking for a Manufacturing Quality Technician who will support the Quality Referential requirements. The role will also support/lead CI of manufacturing quality within the Thornbury Lab.
Main responsibilities:- Work with local CI and site Management team ensuring the effective implementation of the Rx Referential.
- Work with local CI and site Management team ensuring the effective implementation of the Process Control Plans.
- Complete the required reporting routines for Quality referential and Quality GAP analysis.
- Support NPI process of new products manufactured at the Thornbury Lab.
- Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
- Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.
- Support in internal process audit schedules.
- Support internal calibration programme and external calibration recall process.
- Support the document management systems; ensure review and amendment schedules are maintained.
- Complete required Quality Europe inspections, testing and reporting. Control test method effectiveness / Final Control, BIG & GIB / V17 Diagnosis Gap Analysis.
- To work in line with duty of care to self/others and ensure Health & Safety guidelines are followed in line with company policy, Essilor Group Policies and local regulatory requirements.
- To bring to the attention of the business hazards, risks, concerns, accidents or near misses.
- To work in line with local and Group Environmental & energy policies and best practice.
