Your role
As Portfolio Business Brand Manager for eyewear you will be responsible for some of the world’s most recognisable brands including Emporio Armani, Polo Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, and Swarovski among others. It is your mission to develop and drive brand strategy, volume, and value within budget and time by ensuring that marketing, PR, and training plans are in-line with your strategy and that salesforce and trade are supported with the appropriate tools to increase consumer demand.
The role requires a deep understanding of markets, clients, and consumers in order to devise and lead a product’s go-to-market strategy by way of customer-centric solutions. As the brand’s subject matter expert you will transfer knowledge about markets, trends, and product across the organization focusing on marketing and sales functions.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand strategy for the Wholesale North Europe region.
- Organizing brand activities in line with your brand budgets.
- Focusing on key messages for the brands to drive significant performance of the business.
- Manage the full B2B communication strategy across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Lead internal communication flow of brand plans, focusing on trade marketing and sales.
- Overseeing the distribution of brands in all channels. Making recommendations for segmentation.
- Collaborate with the training team to develop, execute, and monitor training plans.
- Product, market and competition analysis to develop concrete recommendations for action.
- Build assortment recommendations in collaboration with the Category Management team.
- Ensuring salesforce has full understanding of portfolio and product segmentations.
- Steer product development through feedback for global product teams across all brands.
- Presentation of new collections to clients and internally to staff.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all things Premium & Fast Fashion.
- Supervise an intern when necessary.
Main requirements
- Bachelor Degree ideally within Business/Economics with focus on Marketing.
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in brand marketing.
- Ability in project management / coordination of multi-disciplinary teams.
- Organization, autonomy & dynamism to drive projects forward with flawless attention to detail.
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills.
- Strong communication and presenting skills, capable of adapting to different audiences.
- Creative, Imaginative, and constantly curious, able to propose new ideas.
- High affinity to fashion brands and enthusiasm for the Premium & Fast Fashion portfolio.
- Being an active team member – creating internal and external business partnerships and actively supporting others.
