Your role: We are seeking a tech-savvy, customer-oriented, and results-driven Wearables Category Promoter to lead the commercial success of EssilorLuxottica’s Wearables category — our most innovative segment, integrating advanced digital and AI-driven technologies into eyewear. This role combines sell-in and sell-out responsibility across all wearable solutions, from connected eyewear to audio-enabled devices. You will play a pivotal role in driving adoption, training partners, and elevating the consumer experience, ensuring that EssilorLuxottica Wearables are recognized as the ultimate fusion of technology, design, and lifestyle. As a sales product specialist, you will act as the bridge between technology, retail, and the consumer, bringing both technical expertise and commercial acumen to accelerate category growth across your territory. You will be field-based, visiting our customers across the London and South East area of the UK (postcodes include CO, CT, BN, RH and all London postcodes).
Main responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth, category penetration, and adoption of wearable solutions across assigned territories and customer accounts.
- Support both sell-in and sell-out performance through effective category development and commercial execution.
- Deliver engaging product and sales training to internal teams and customers, building confidence and capability in the wearables category.
- Translate technical product features into clear customer and consumer benefits.
- Support in-store activation activities, including product demonstrations, merchandising, launches, campaigns, and consumer engagement initiatives.
- Partner with Strategic Partnership Managers, Regional Sales teams, and Sell-Out Specialists to integrate wearables into business plans and regional strategies.
- Position wearables as part of a broader solution alongside lenses, frames, and services, demonstrating both commercial and consumer value.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour, providing insights to support category development.
- Track category performance, maintain accurate reporting, and use data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and optimise results.

- Experience in sales, category management, business development, or specialist roles within technology, consumer electronics, optics, healthcare, or a related industry.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive sales growth and category performance.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technologies in a simple and compelling way.
- Experience delivering training, coaching, or influencing customer behaviour and sales performance.
