Project description Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes. We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager / Business Analyst to support business transformation, operational improvement, and technology delivery initiatives. The successful candidate will combine project management, business analysis, and process improvement skills to help drive efficient delivery of projects and operational change. The role requires strong analytical and documentation capabilities, with the ability to understand operational processes, identify simplification opportunities, map business workflows, analyse data flows, and support stakeholders in defining business and technical requirements. This position is ideal for an individual who can bridge the gap between business and technology teams while maintaining strong governance, documentation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities Project Management Support Support project planning, tracking, governance, and reporting activities. Prepare project status updates, meeting minutes, RAID logs, action trackers, and steering committee materials. Coordinate activities across business, operations, technology, and third-party teams. Monitor project progress against milestones and escalated risks or dependencies where required. Support delivery managers and programme managers in maintaining project controls and governance standards. Ability to use Microsoft project and starter level AI/Chat GPT/ Teams componentsBusiness Analysis Gather, document, and validate business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews. Analyse current-state and future-state business processes. Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements. Support solution design discussions by providing business context and process understanding. Produce high-quality documentation including: Technical/Business Requirements Documents (TDO/BRDs) Functional Specifications Gap Analysis Documentation Process/ data flow Maps Data Mapping Documents Business Impact Assessments Process Analysis
