DXC Luxoft is partnering with a major commodity trader to build out their eTrading capability. Our client plans to trade against a bespoke risk‑neutral model that identifies key risk factors within specific portfolios. We are seeking a Python specialist with expertise in eTrading and FIX connectivity to design and implement the systems and solutions needed to leverage this model and capture market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Build and integrate systems to automate order execution within defined parameters.
- Develop integration applications including advanced order routing, position server, risk firewall, and interfaces with in‑house risk systems.
- Integrate with Trading Technologies FIX gateway and internal risk systems.
- Collaborate closely with trading and risk stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored technology solutions.
- Contribute to the development of a simple user interface for trading operations.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in Python development.
- Proven experience in eTrading systems.
- Deep knowledge of FIX and FIXML protocols.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with C++ or Rust.
