Overview
The main goal of this project is to integrate cloud-based applications into the enterprise cloud infrastructure of a leading U.S.-based healthcare company. This large-scale transformation involves migrating diverse applications into a standardized, enterprise-ready architecture, including re-platforming, implementing necessary remediations, and addressing security vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities
- Carry out essential application remediations to facilitate seamless migration to the cloud environment
- Develop reusable infrastructure modules using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and release processes
- Automate routine tasks and operations across the entire SDLC
- Troubleshoot issues related to both application and the underlying infrastructure and support
- Identify and address security vulnerabilities and concerns
- Maintain project knowledgebases and supporting documentation
Skills
Must have
- 5+ years of working experience in Cloud Engineer roles
- At least 3 years of production experience of GCP is a must, including designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure
- At least 3 years of production experience of Azure
- At least 3 years of production experience of AWS
- Strong proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CDKs) for developing reusable, modular infrastructure code
- Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Strong team player with problem-solving mindset for cross-functional collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience integrating security into DevOps, with a focus on security scanning, vulnerabilities analysis and remediation
- Familiarity with development of AI-powered tools to automate and optimize DevOps tasks
- Experience in cloud migration and modernization projects
- Experience implementing Platform Engineering practices
