For an upcoming program at JLR, which requires end-to-end project delivery for OTA-enabled onboard systems across different vehicle platforms, we are looking for a Project Manager with experience in automotive, aerospace/MoD, or similar complex manufacturing environments to be based in Gaydon, UK.

This platform is dedicated exclusively for future, all-electric Jaguar models, including MLA (Modular Longitudinal Architecture) for larger cars and EMA (Electric Modular Architecture) for pure electric platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • The Project Manager ensures scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets are met while enabling software-defined vehicle features to be delivered, updated, and validated via secure OTA mechanisms throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work within structured programme environments (EMEA/JEA/MLA/SOTA) and demonstrate awareness of milestone gateways.
  • Understand software release processes and ideally have some hardware exposure.
  • Display strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Maintain a high standard of reporting, escalation, and intervention where needed.
  • AGILE experience is a benefit, but awareness is sufficient.

Must have:

  • 5+ years' automotive experience in leading 20+ employee project teams.
  • Proactive with a hands-on mentality where your actions are needed.
  • Well organized and able to delegate efficiently.
  • Strong communicator in English and able to convey results to your team and to customers.
  • Passionate about agile working methodologies and open to new technologies.

Nice to have:

  • Hardware experience.
