We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong technical background and cloud expertise to lead a team in building a centralized data layer for commodity trading products on Azure.
Responsibilities
- Act as a Data Lake Architect and define a common data model for a centralized data layer.
- Lead a team of 8 resources to build interfaces, data models, and data pipelines on Azure.
- Review code, advise on best practices, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage risks, escalating impediments and ensuring consistency in quality and methodology.
- Report on delivery progress and act as the point of escalation for delivery issues.
- Maintain positive employee and team experiences, teaching lean and agile practices.
- Create and communicate annual PI calendars, facilitate PI planning, and publish PI objectives.
Skills
- Extensive Azure Integration experience: Data Lake, Data Bricks, Data Factory.
- Experience leading and coaching cross‑functional teams.
- Strong technical background as a developer with 10+ years in managed services, IT outsourcing, or consultancy.
- Experience in investment banking or commodity trading industry.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile SAFe practices, backlog refinement, and PI planning.
Nice to have:
- Commodity experience building trading applications related to energy trading, LNG, or biomethane.
- Understanding of agile delivery frameworks, processes, and tools.
