Project description Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager / Business Analyst to support business transformation, operational improvement, and technology delivery initiatives. The successful candidate will combine project management, business analysis, and process improvement skills to help drive efficient delivery of projects and operational change.The role requires strong analytical and documentation capabilities, with the ability to understand operational processes, identify simplification opportunities, map business workflows, analyse data flows, and support stakeholders in defining business and technical requirements.Project Management Support Support project planning, tracking, governance, and reporting activities. Prepare project status updates, meeting minutes, RAID logs, action trackers, and steering committee materials. Monitor project progress against milestones and escalate risks or dependencies where required. Support delivery managers and programme managers in maintaining project controls and governance standards. Ability to use Microsoft project and starter level AI/Chat GPT/ Teams components Business Analysis Support solution design discussions by providing business context and process understanding. Produce high-quality documentation including: Gap Analysis Documentation Process/ data flow Maps Data Mapping Documents Process Analysis & Simplification Support continuous improvement and Lean/Kaizen initiatives. Process Mapping & Data Analysis Data lineage and data flows Produce data mapping documentation between source and target systems. Identify data dependencies, transformation rules, and control points within business processes. Stakeholder Management Engage effectively with business users, operations teams, technology teams, and project stakeholders. 2-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Process Analyst, or related role within Banking, Financial Services, Operations, Technology, or Change Delivery environments. Ability to understand and document data flows and data mappings. Strong attention to detail and documentation quality. Microsoft Excel Microsoft Project Chat GPT Data flows and interfaces Data transformation and mapping Change management practices Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Experience supporting process automation initiatives. Familiarity with core banking, payments, regulatory, or operational systems. English: Change Management
