Our Client is one of the largest TV providers in North America. We are looking for a VMWare Administrator to maintain security, performance monitoring, installing, configuring, securing, managing, and monitoring VMware vSphere ESXi clusters in multiple data centers.
Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, maintenance, tuning and troubleshooting of VMware environment running on vSphere 6.5, 6.7, 7, 8.
- Installation of ESXi Host and vCenter Server.
- Upgrading ESXi.
- Responsible for ESXi Host Server Health Check and Performance Monitoring.
- Experience working with VCF, vCenter, vSphere, vROPs.
- Upgrade VM Tools and VM Hardware versions.
- Monitor and remediate security compliance results from tools like Nessus/Tenable.
- Perform VMware crash/error analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Coordinate Post Problem Analysis and Trend Analysis.
- Basic Linux administration.
- On-call support.
