As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex transformation initiatives across a global, multi-stakeholder environment. You will operate at the intersection of business, technology and operations, providing clear leadership, structure and accountability to ensure successful delivery against strategic objectives. The role requires strong Loan IQ expertise and experience delivering large-scale Loans/lending platform transformations, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans and drive outcomes across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of complex projects and initiatives within the Loans transformation programme, from initiation through implementation and transition to BAU.
  • Own and maintain the integrated project/workstream plan, including milestones, dependencies, critical path and key delivery outcomes.
  • Establish clear delivery objectives, scope, milestones and success criteria across business and technology teams.
  • Own project-level RAID management, ensuring risks and issues are proactively identified, mitigated and escalated appropriately.
  • Manage cross-workstream dependencies and proactively resolve conflicts, blockers and delivery risks.
  • Lead project governance forums, ensuring effective preparation, decision-making, action tracking and follow-through.
  • Provide high-quality executive reporting, translating complex delivery information into clear messages, decisions and recommended actions.
  • Drive accountability across business, technology, operations and vendor stakeholders, ensuring commitments are delivered.
  • Manage project resources and capacity, identifying gaps and working with relevant leads to address constraints.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across global business, technology and operations teams, including senior leadership.
  • Work closely with vendors and implementation partners to manage deliverables, dependencies, risks, escalations and delivery commitments.
  • Ensure project decisions are clearly documented, with ownership, rationale and follow-up actions.
  • Support financial and commercial management of the project, including budget tracking, forecasting and vendor-related costs where applicable.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness, processes and ways of working across the programme.
  • Act as a trusted delivery partner to the Programme Lead and senior stakeholders, providing transparency, challenge and actionable recommendations.
  • Apply strong Loan IQ domain and platform knowledge to support solution design, business process decisions, testing, migration, implementation and delivery planning.

Must have

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, programme delivery, transformation or technology delivery roles within complex financial services environments.
  • Proven track record of independently leading large-scale, complex transformation projects across multiple business and technology workstreams.
  • Strong hands-on Loan IQ experience and expertise, with a deep understanding of the platform and Loans/lending processes.
  • Experience delivering Loan IQ implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations or major transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end lending/Loans processes and the interaction between business processes, technology and operational teams.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with distributed global stakeholders and multiple delivery partners.
  • Strong project governance, planning, risk management, dependency management and delivery control skills.
  • Demonstrable experience operating across Agile environment.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging and influencing senior leadership, programme leadership and steering committees.
  • Ability to lead through influence across business, technology, operations and vendor organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and delivery topics into clear executive-level messages and decisions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a pragmatic and outcome-focused approach.
  • Ability to constructively challenge senior stakeholders and delivery teams while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to identify delivery risks early, drive resolution and maintain momentum in complex transformation environments.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors/implementation partners and holding them accountable for delivery outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of financial services transformation, preferably within Corporate/Commercial Lending or Loans.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and project/programme planning and reporting tools.
  • Ability to operate independently at Senior Project Manager level, taking ownership for delivery outcomes and providing leadership across complex, high-profile initiatives.
