Project Goal: Ongoing development and optimization of a large-scale eCommerce platform for a major US retail company serving millions of omnichannel customers weekly. The cloud migration phase has been completed. The current focus is on:
- CI/CD process optimization and standardization
- Infrastructure improvement and operational maturity
- Security hardening and compliance
- Performance, reliability and scalability improvements
- Continuous modernization of the cloud-native platform
Responsibilities: The role focuses on improving engineering efficiency, infrastructure reliability, and security posture across a cloud-native microservices ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve and standardize CI/CD pipelines across teams
- Optimize build, test, and deployment processes
- Enhance Infrastructure as Code practices
- Improve observability, reliability, and scalability of the platform
- Drive security improvements across infrastructure and delivery pipelines
- Implement DevSecOps best practices
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve operational processes
- Participate in architectural decision‑making and continuous platform evolution
- Contribute to pre‑sales and technical consulting activities when required
SKILLS
Must have
Core Technical Competencies:
- Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud provider: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure
- Strong Kubernetes experience (production environments)
- CI/CD pipeline design and optimization
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or Azure Bicep
- Containers: Docker or Podman
- Scripting: Python and/or Bash, PowerShell
- Experience with security best practices in cloud‑native environments
Leadership & Communication:
