Project description: Luxoft has the world's leading Orchestrade practice. We are a top-tier Orchestrade Partner and a market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration. We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered Orchestrade projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and commodities. The project is an Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) Platform implementation for commodity products: Power, Gas, Certs, Biomethane, and LNG. You will be part of a high-profile initiative for this commodity client. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on several types of commodity products and learn a new trading platform including the ability to showcase the work directly to the End users.
The team is responsible for the integration of a trading application (Orchestrade) used for:
- Pre-deal origination workflow and post-execution monitoring and life-cycle management.
- Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting business.
- Leverage strategic standard risk systems.
- Integration with Operations, Finance.
- Reporting, Reconciliation, Accounting.
The application is Orchestrade:
- Orchestrade is a .Net (C#) application: Natively connected to Excel.
- Database: Microsoft SQL.
- Delivered as an Azure hosted SaaS.

Responsibilities
- Business & Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end solutions supporting Power, Gas, and LNG trading businesses. Translate business requirements into scalable functional architecture blueprints and technology roadmaps. Define target-state business capabilities, processes, and operating models. Ensure alignment between business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and technology strategy. Lead functional architecture governance and design reviews across projects and programs.
- Commodity Trading & Risk Management: Architect solutions supporting Front-office trading activities, Trade capture and lifecycle management, Market risk and credit risk management, Position management, Valuation and pricing, P&L and exposure reporting, Regulatory reporting and compliance. Support integration and optimization of CTRM/ETRM platforms.
- Power Markets: Design solutions covering Wholesale power trading, Day-ahead and intraday markets, Capacity and ancillary service markets, Renewable energy trading, Power scheduling and nominations, Asset-backed trading and optimization, Grid and market operator interfaces.
- Natural Gas & LNG: Architect capabilities for Physical gas trading, Pipeline transportation and storage, Scheduling and nominations, LNG cargo trading, LNG vessel scheduling and logistics, Regasification and terminal operations, Gas balancing and network optimization, Supply portfolio management.
SKILLS
Must have:
- Strong Knowledge of commodity products: Power, Certificates, Gas, Biomethane, Energy, Liquified Natural Gas.
- Proven experience in running major technology implementations in the commodity trading domain.
- Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.
- Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
