Project description

We are seeking an experienced Loan IQ SME to lead the strategic development, optimisation, and delivery of Loan IQ for one of our largest client.

This role sits at the intersection of business, operations, and technology, owning the product vision, roadmap, and delivery priorities for complex lending platforms and transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will join a Project Team to provide dedicated Loan IQ Training to users across Business and Technology areas in the UBS Lending space.

Responsibilities

  • Own the definition of a detailed training plan to be delivered to a range of experienced Lending SMEs across technology and business areas.
  • Work with existing Loan Product and Loan IQ SMEs to create training material to be delivered as part of the Loan IQ implementation project.
  • Lending Basics: Deliver Lending Business training covering basic concepts including Lending Principles, Bilateral and Syndicated Lending and Loans Secondary Trading.

Concepts: Deliver business training covering advanced topics including, but not limited to, Fee types, Interest Calculation, Loan Lifecycle Management, Document tracking and Accounting methods.

  • Loan IQ Business: Deliver training tailored for Loan IQ Business users including fundamentals covering Loan Lifecycle Management, Accounting & Control, Cashflows & Payments, etc…
  • Data

Net: Deliver business and technical user training covering the Data Net product, including an overview of readily available reports and instructions on how to configure new reports using the tool.

  • Loan IQ Technical: Deliver training targeting Loan IQ technical and support users.

This should include Loan IQ System & Batch Configuration, the Loan IQ Data Model and Queries, etc…

  • Software Development Kit (SDK): Technical training covering the Loan IQ SDK, development and release practices.
  • Ensure the audience of the training are fully equipped to carry on the maintenance and delivery of the training material going forward.

SKILLS

  • Must have
  • SME Knowledge of the Loan Product / Syndicate Lending Business and Loan IQ application/data model as well as version 7+ of the Loan IQ application.
  • 8+ years of Loan IQ experience with either a background in Loan IQ Product Ownership or a role in Loan Operations.
  • Extensive experience of delivering Loan Product and Loan IQ training to business and technical audiences.
  • Good communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Nice to have
  • Experience leading Loan IQ implementation, upgrade, migration, or transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending, corporate banking, leveraged finance, private credit, or structured finance products.
  • Familiarity with lending data models, integration architectures, APIs, and reporting solutions.
  • Experience working within consulting, professional services, or technology services organisations.
  • Agile Product Owner, Scrum, SAFe, or related certifications.
