Overview
IT Analyst focused on non-clinical healthcare systems (like HR, patient experience, safety systems). Your job is to support, improve, and maintain these systems so they run smoothly and meet user needs.
Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: handle requests and projects related to non-clinical software — designing, building, testing, and maintaining them.
- Troubleshooting & Updates: help fix issues and assist with software upgrades.
- Testing: help create and manage testing plans and work with users to test systems.
- Coordination: work with different departments to ensure systems are well-supported.
- Teamwork: collaborate with various professionals to keep systems stable and functional.
- Documentation: keep records updated and follow change management rules.
- On-Call Support: be available during off-hours as part of a rotation to handle urgent issues.
- Continuous Learning: stay updated and trained on different systems and tools.
Qualifications
- Must have: 3+ years of IT experience, including IT application support experience in Press Ganey’s HRP application and/or RLDatix’s RL6 application.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of business workflows.
- Strong teamwork and communication.
- Ability to learn new applications quickly.
- Experience with non-clinical healthcare systems such as risk management, patient experience, patient safety.
- Initial focus will be on Press Ganey HRP (a tool used for patient experience and performance improvement).
