Our Customer is one of the world\’s largest investment management companies. Based in Southern California, our client manages close to $2 trillion in assets and is looking for a new partner to participate in a full-scale upgrade of their technology. We are looking for talented and ambitious people to work on the new engagement in the client\’s offices near Los Angeles, California.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation
  • Convert business requirements into project planning artifacts – Epics, Stories, Tasks; form product development backlog
  • Translate assumptions, technical design and limitations, and risks into business terms and negotiate their impact with the stakeholders
  • Lead planning sessions
  • Prepare and review artifacts for the demo sessions, drive the demo preparations
  • Manage requirements changes to ensure a full understanding of the impact on scope, schedule, quality, and risks by all stakeholders
  • Ensure all requirements are correctly represented in JIRA, Confluence, and other collaboration tools
  • Cooperate closely with the onsite team on project preliminary analysis and high-level estimation
  • Mediate requirements clarification between business stakeholders and the project team
  • Collaborate with other analysts to detect overlapping parts and achieve synergy out of projects implemented jointly by multiple teams
  • Suggest process improvements related to teamwork planning, tracking, and ensuring the deliverable quality in close cooperation with Project and Delivery Managers

SKILLS

Must have

  • Product Management;
  • Business Analysis;
  • Confident working knowledge of Equity Portfolio Management;
  • Advanced data analytics and SQL skills such as:- ability to independently traverse a data model and infer data and relationships without constant guidance.- ability to confidently craft data SQL for production support and requirements analysis.
  • Upon getting a basic review has to be able to explore and reverse engineer understanding of the platform\’s capabilities and attributes.
  • Be able to navigate the organization to discover and negotiate data integration requirements and impact analysis.
  • Thought leaders capable of deeper insight determining opportunities for improvement and assessing risk. Assisting management with prioritization, escalation, and simplifying concepts that have layered complexity.
  • Strong and confident communication skills.Will entail some direct support and collaboration with Investment Group and IO leads.
