Job Summary: As a vital member of the Growth & Innovation team, you will oversee direct key accounts and distributor relationships within a specified geographical area. Your focus will be on delivering growth of current products into new markets and broadening regional reaches by working closely with the sales, technical, manufacturing and supply chain teams. This role demands a proactive, positive approach with a readiness to travel extensively worldwide, connecting with customers and participating in key industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate business relationships with both existing and potential Direct Accounts & Distributors.
  • Achieve financial targets annually and quarterly in alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Develop and grow relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, integrating leads and opportunities within CRM Salesforce.
  • Actively lead growth of existing products into new applications and markets.
  • Proactively participate in the innovation product portfolio aligned to the company’s aspirations and goals.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, manage customer feedback, and assist with credit control issues.
  • Understand customer needs and enhance control for price negotiation.
  • Travel to customers, distributors and events.
  • Participate in monthly sales forecasting.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and exhibitions.

What you need:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or Science/Chemistry.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably in the Chemicals industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM software (preferably Salesforce).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong knowledge of sales techniques and strategic business processes.
  • UK driving licence.
