20 Jun 2024 Design Director - Bags & Footwear Premium Brand (relocation to Asia)From Luxe Talent, an International Recruitment and Training Consultancy Agency specialising in Executive & Middle Management profiles in the Fashion, Luxury, Retail, Food & Beverage, Hospitality and FMCG sectors, we are looking for a Design Director for an international brand specialising in the production of accessories and shoes with a very strong online and in-store presence. This role requires a relocation to Asia.In our recruitment and training consultancy we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan and Munich and Amsterdam.Responsibilities of the Design Director: Develop a wide range of seasonal products, including a good product mix for each bag and shoe collectionLead the design team in the conception and presentation of convincing designs and colour palettes in line with current trends and market preferencesProvide training, inspiration and motivation to promote high performance within the design teamCollaborate with the studio manager to assign design projects effectively and ensure a smooth workflowTravel to research and gain market knowledge, source materials, visit trade shows and follow brand developmentMaintain the quality and value of projects by staying abreast of production techniques and technological advancesUtilise technical skills in the construction of products and improve their developmentAnalysing seasonal performance data to improve future product assortment strategies and maximise profitabilityUse data to understand customer needs, market dynamics and emerging trends in the digital landscapeRequirements of the Design Director:Strong design experience in the global landscape in Europe and the United StatesDegree in Design or relevant fieldStrong analytical skills and ability to understand market demands by analysing various company reportsAbility to build strong business relationshipsStrong communication and delegation skills, with the ability to navigate between creativity and businessAbility to work in multitasking and prioritiseStrong teamwork skills and ability to build a solid teamLively and outgoing personality with a positive attitudeIf your profile meets the requirements, please do not hesitate to send us your updated CV!At Luxe Talent we want to help you achieve your goals, that's why we offer you the most interesting job opportunities in the Fashion, Retail, Luxury and FMCG market.
