We are seeking a Credit Control Assistant to join a great finance team based in Stansted on a temporary & part-time basis! This position offers a good degree of flexibility, but the ideal scenario would be 25 hours per week across 3 or 4 days (Monday - Thursday). This will be a 6-9 month contract (with potential for it to be longer or permanent), working within a small finance team in a super friendly environment.
In assisting the Credit Control team, this role will involve:
- Monitoring and chasing outstanding debts by email and phone (it's a mix!).
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
- Being responsive, and providing quality data and service.
- Answering queries promptly and in accordance with procedures.
- Following department processes and procedures and giving any feedback to improve.
- Ensuring that targets and reporting deadlines are met.
- Ensuring information systems are accurately maintained.
- Producing quality documentation and maintaining an effective filing system.
- Providing reports for both internal and external customers.
- Maintaining effective communication with other departments within the Group.
- Any other ad hoc projects/ duties as reasonably required.
Although credit control experience is not absolutely necessary, candidates will need:
- An understanding of credit control processes.
