We are seeking a talented administrator with exceptional attention to detail to join our clients procurement team as a Purchasing Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a strong administrative background to develop within a procurement function of a well-established, dynamic and growing organisation in the electronics sector based in Hook, Hampshire. Although procurement experience is not essential, attention to detail absolutely is. This opportunity would suit somebody with good experience in raising purchase orders or shipping, who is perhaps looking for a new career path into procurement.

The Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative PO, shipping and invoice support within a small purchasing team. This includes:

  • Progressing Purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Ensuring acknowledgements and shipping details are received from suppliers and updating ERP system and files.
  • Placing PO's with suppliers including online transactions with Buyer involvement.
  • Assisting Shipping forwarders with paperwork and commodity codes to clear customs.
  • Dealing with UPS Queries.
  • Responding to queries from other departments.
  • Assisting sales with queries.
  • Raising Commercial Invoices for Export of Consigned parts.
  • Update data to assist warehouse and buyers tracking.
