ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Refurb Centre Technician, your primary focus will be the refurbishment process of returned water systems, ensuring every unit is restored to peak performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Refurbishment: Diagnose root causes of product returns and carry out refurbishment of returned or broken water home systems, following specifications and training provided by the Quality Manager. Ensure all repairs are completed correctly the first time to prevent repeat returns. Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with the Quality Manager to identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements that enhance repair quality and reduce future returns.
- Communication and Teamwork: Be a valued member of the team communicating with your team lead to continue to improve results. Step up to support when your team needs.
- Stock & Process Accuracy: Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and defined processes, accurately recording information in our systems. Record all stock consumption accurately in our systems to ensure your van stock aligns to system counts. Complete all stock takes accurately and on time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role.
- Must live within 30 minutes of Redhill.
- Problem-solving skills that make challenges disappear.
- Tackle basic plumbing tasks.
- Work independently like a pro and know how to juggle priorities.
- Ability to be a team player and work well under pressure.
- Forklift license is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
SALARY & WORKING HOURS
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, either 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8am - 5pm. Salary up to £32,000 per annum, plus monthly on-target bonuses and incentives. Please apply today for more information.
