My client is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Technician to ensure that buildings, plant, and equipment remain safe, reliable, compliant, and fully operational, while minimising downtime, risk, and cost across the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance across allocated sites.
- Work safely and follow all compliance and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues.
- Accurately update and close jobs.
- Assess and complete requests efficiently.
- Order and collect materials as needed for repair tasks.
Job Related Skills
- General building fabric maintenance e.g. Basic Joinery, Painting, Basic plumbing and minor floor repairs.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation.
- Fault finding on all types of machinery.
- Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the business working on Heavy Industrial Machines.
- Liaise with onsite colleagues to understand related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
- Identify issues beyond repair, undertake survey and escalate with recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to uphold site standards.
- Perform ad hoc duties as and when required.
