The predicted salary is between 16 - 16 £ per hour.

We are seeking a Credit Control Assistant to join a great finance team based in Stansted on a temporary & part-time basis! This position offers a good degree of flexibility, but the ideal scenario would be 25 hours per week across 3 or 4 days (Monday - Thursday). This will be a 6-9 month contract (with potential for it to be longer or permanent), working within a small finance team in a super friendly environment.

In assisting the Credit Control team, this role will involve:

  • Monitoring and chasing outstanding debts by email and phone.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
  • Being responsive, and providing quality data and service.
  • Answering queries promptly and in accordance with procedures.
  • Following department processes and procedures and giving any feedback to improve.
  • Ensuring that targets and reporting deadlines are met.
  • Ensuring information systems are accurately maintained.
  • Producing quality documentation and maintaining an effective filing system.
  • Providing reports for both internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining effective communication with other departments within the Group.
  • Any other ad hoc projects/ duties as reasonably required.

Although credit control experience is not absolutely necessary, candidates will need:

  • An understanding of credit control processes.
  • Understanding of finance systems and procedures.
  • Experience with finance package skills (Business Central desirable but not essential).
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated & able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Excellent Excel skills.

The hourly rate on offer will be £14.50 - £16ph (depending on experience), with flexibility on hours and days which can be discussed during screening. Please apply today for more information!
