Het beroep van anesthesiemedewerker is een dynamisch, technisch, specialistisch en afwisselend beroep, waarbij je goed moet kunnen inspelen op veranderende omstandigheden.
Bij het LUMC hebben we een aantal opleidingsplaatsen voor de opleiding tot anesthesiemedewerker.
Wat houdt dit beroep in?
Een anesthesiemedewerker assisteert de anesthesioloog bij alle voorkomende taken bij het voorbereiden, toedienen en onderhouden van de verschillende vormen van anesthesie.
Je bewaakt de anesthesiediepte door het continue monitoren van de vitale functies en stuurt zo nodig bij.
Daarnaast ben je ook werkzaam buiten het OK complex om anesthesie te geven, te assisteren bij een trauma opvang en ben je ook lid van het reanimatieteam.
Tijdens de driejarige opleiding tot anesthesiemedewerker leer je onder andere in teamverband te werken en ond verantwoordelijkheid van een anesthesioloog ondersteunende werkzaamheden te verrichten.
Het theoretisch onderwijs volg je bij de afdeling Zorgopleidingen van het LUMC.
Je wisselt het onderwijs af met het leren in de praktijk bij specialismen binnen het OK-complex.
Stages loop je onder meer op de verkoeverkamer en de Spoedeisende Hulp.
Het theoretisch onderwijs bestaat naast de beroepsgerelateerde vakken uit scheikunde, natuurkunde en farmacologie.
De complexiteit van theorie en praktijk neemt naarmate de opleiding vordert steeds meer toe.
Waar ga je werken?
Het LUMC beschikt over een modern OK-centrum met twintig operatiekamers.
Daarnaast zijn er binnen het OK-centrum een PACU, holding en verkoeverkamer.
Je komt te werken in een enthousiast team waarin ook aandacht is voor activiteiten buiten het werk.
Wat neem je mee?
- Minimaal een havo (profiel NG/NT) of een mbo-4 diploma gericht op zorg met natuur en scheikunde in de vooropleiding.
- De minimum leeftijd voor deze opleidingsplaats in het LUMC is zeventien jaar.
- Omdat op het OK-centrum ingrepen altijd anders kunnen lopen dan verwacht, is het noodzakelijk dat je snel kunt schakelen en flexibel, stressbestendig en resultaatgericht bent.
- Goede communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden. Daarnaast ben je proactief en leergierig ingesteld.
- Minimaal C1 taalniveau Nederlands.

Dit betekent dat maar liefst 70% van je pensioenpremie betaald wordt door het LUMC en je daardoor netto meer salaris over houdt.
Als je de opleiding goed hebt afgerond, streeft het LUMC naar een vaste aanstelling.
Het LUMC faciliteert jou bij het onderhouden en ontwikkelen van je kennis en vaardigheden.
Hiervoor bieden wij onder andere interne opleidingen en bijscholing aan.
Denk hierbij aan de opleiding tot sedatie praktijkspecialist en pijnconsulent.

- Voor de duur van de opleiding krijg je een aanstelling bij het LUMC.
In de klinische periode ontvang je een salaris van € 1.814,- bruto per maand in de eerste leerperiode tot € 2.741,- bruto per maand in de laatste leerperiode.
Als je 23 jaar of ouder bent, wordt het salaris aangevuld tot het minimumloon.
Voor verpleegkundigen die de opleiding volgen, geldt een andere salariëring.
De arbeidsvoorwaarden zijn geregeld in de CAO voor Universitair Medische Centra.
Het LUMC betaalt je opleidingskosten en reiskosten worden vergoed conform cao.
- Per 1 mei 2027 geldt een loonsverhoging van 3,5%.
- Omdat deze opleiding 2 startmomenten heeft (maart en september), kent deze vacature geen sluitingsdatum.
Geef in je sollicitatiebrief duidelijk aan welk startmoment jouw voorkeur heeft.
Bij voldoende geschikte kandidaten voor een van de startmomenten starten we met sollicitatiegesprekken.
- De sollicitatieprocedure bestaat uit een gesprek.
Kandidaten die wij geschikt vinden lopen daarna ook een ochtend mee op de OK.
Het is niet mogelijk om, voor het eerste gesprek, mee te lopen op de OK.
