As we grow, we’re looking for a Principal Backend Engineer to lead the evolution of our backend systems. This role will drive the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that form the backbone of our platform.
As the Principal Backend Engineer, you will:
- Lead the development and optimization of Luupli’s backend services.
- Define the technical roadmap for backend services in alignment with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Make architectural decisions that ensure scalability, performance, and security.
- Ensure seamless deployment with CI/CD processes.
- Drive integration of services with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues to ensure efficient data flow.
Optimization and Performance
- Monitor backend performance metrics, identifying and addressing bottlenecks proactively.
- Ensure efficient use of AWS resources to minimize costs without compromising performance.
Quality Assurance and Security
- Implement best practices for secure coding, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Establish rigorous testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and load testing.
- Work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
- Partner with data engineers to ensure effective data management and analytics pipelines.
Expertise required:
- C# .NET Core and microservice architecture.
- Strong experience with AWS EKS and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with caching strategies, data partitioning, and performance tuning for large-scale systems.
