Our client is in the process of developing and renovating a significant private estate (c. 450 acres), currently undergoing a major transformation programme. The estate comprises a principal residence, a secondary residential property (former stables), agricultural land, and a series of development projects including the conversion of farm buildings into artists residencies, alongside extensive landscaping and environmental initiatives.

The estate is supported by a small number of long-standing and external operators, including an experienced Estate Manager responsible for day-to-day land management. The Principal works closely with a project management team overseeing the ongoing capital works and divides time between London and the estate.

The Principal is seeking to appoint an exceptional Estate Director to take on a newly created, senior leadership role with full responsibility for the estate. This is a residential position working closely with the Principal's existing team. The Estate Director will act as the central coordinating figure across all aspects of the estate, providing strategic direction, operational oversight and leadership through a period of significant development and beyond. The Estate Director will report to the CEO of the family office.

The successful candidate will bring structure, clarity, and vision to the estate's operations.
