Lutterworth High School is a thriving, high-attaining and oversubscribed 11-16 Academy. We’re looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated Curriculum Support team and help our students reach their full potential.

In this rewarding role you’ll support students with diverse learning needs, helping them overcome barriers and achieve success. You’ll work within the classroom and deliver interventions, building confidence, independence and resilience, while collaborating with passionate teachers and support staff as part of a friendly, experienced team. Most importantly, you’ll make a tangible impact, seeing students grow academically, socially and emotionally every day.

Standard working hours: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm (4 hours) and 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm (1 hour 45 minutes), totalling 5 hours 45 minutes per day. The standard working day includes a 45-minute unpaid lunch break. Working hours may vary during the lunch period to ensure duty coverage.

A school year is 38 weeks; the hours of the 39th week are disaggregated throughout the year for staff meetings and training days, which you’ll be required to attend.

Offers of appointment will be conditional upon an enhanced DBS with a barred list check, satisfactory references and medical clearance. Lutterworth High School Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
