We are seeking to appoint an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support our SENDCo and wider inclusion team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to thrive.
The appointed person will play a key role in supporting the College’s graduated response to SEND through effective operational coordination, communication management and the delivery of targeted interventions. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENDCo, teaching staff, Teaching Assistants, parents/carers and external agencies to help ensure that SEND provision is well organised, consistently delivered and appropriately tracked.
This will include supporting SEND administration, helping to manage and triage communication, coordinating information, and delivering evidence-informed interventions for individuals and small groups.
Permanent part-time position to start as soon as possible 8.20am–3.45pm Monday to Friday, term time only, plus a balance of hours to attend training days and other events that may take place outside normal working hours.
Grade 8, points 15–18: £28,605 – £31,029 annual FTE. Approximate starting salary of £22,077 per annum (pay award pending April 2026).
