Logistics Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless flow of goods across our global supply chain, managing both inbound and outbound shipments with precision and efficiency.
In this role, you will take ownership of coordinating deliveries, proactively resolving in-transit challenges including customs delays and driving continuous improvement in logistics workflows.
By partnering closely with supply chain, shipping, and trade compliance teams, you will help optimize operations and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
This is a high-impact role where your ability to streamline processes and solve problems will directly enhance operational performance and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Resolve any in-transit issues swiftly and proactively communicate shipment status, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders keeping all relevant parties informed.
- Serve as a key escalation point for internal stakeholders, ensuring transportation solutions align with customer expectations and business needs
- Drive a high standard of customer service through responsiveness, accuracy, accountability, and reliability
- Ensure our carriers consistently meet our standards by attending regular QBRs, review KPIs and service levels, and addressing any issues proactively.
- Manage freight approvals to ensure accurate billing from all carriers with audit and payables group
- Continuously work on improving predictable performance for all services in Logistics and Trade compliance area
- Maintain records of all UK customs entries and work in close collaboration with Corporate Trade Compliance team and the EA Logistics Team
- Coordinate delivery for all business units
- Communicate effectively with the supply chain and shipping teams to help optimize their workloads.
- Matrix reporting to Corporate Global Logistics and Trade compliance group
- Support system enhancements, integrations, and process standardization initiatives related to transportation and logistics
- Provide expert guidance with international shipping documentation including commercial invoices, Shipper’s Letter of Instruction (SLI), and Letters of Credit (LC)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
- Minimum 2:2 classification
- 2 - 4 years of experience in transportation or logistics
- Prior trade compliance experience and/or a transportation management system is a plus
- Proven facilitation and project management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office required
- Ability to work onsite, five days per week ( Monday-Friday)
