As Business Development Manager – Luxury Residential based in London, UK, you will be responsible for accelerating sales growth across the UK’s luxury residential market. Working with an established dealer network, you will identify and secure new business opportunities, build high-value relationships, and expand Lutron’s presence with leading integrators, developers, architects, and designers. This is a high-impact role focused on driving revenue, growing market share, and strengthening our leadership position in the premium residential sector.
Responsibilities
- Drive Lutron’s sales growth, consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with Residential System Accounts (dealers), managing day-to-day engagement.
- Generate demand and leads by connecting dealers with new specifiers, influencers, and decision-makers in the luxury residential space.
- Partner with specifiers and interior designers to grow a healthy pipeline and ensure Lutron solutions are specified on every project.
- Identify and win new accounts, expanding Lutron’s presence and market share across the territory.
- Stay closely connected to assigned accounts—building loyalty, gaining pipeline visibility, and promoting Lutron’s full product offering across projects.
- Support accounts in shaping and executing strategies to successfully close opportunities.
- Deliver engaging customer and influencer training sessions, including CPDs and product launches, and actively participate in industry events and networks.
- Proactively develop and implement new strategies to drive market growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Residential Sales and wider UK Lutron teams to deliver shared success.
- Maintain accurate account data and sales activity in CRM (SFDC).
- Manage all sales administration effectively, including forecasts, expenses, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience in the lighting, custom AV, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales, combining account management with new business development.
- Full UK driving license required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Skilled in building and developing B2B relationships through a consultative, value-driven sales approach that supports customer growth.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools to manage pipeline and drive performance (e.g. SFDC).
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and a strong desire to grow within a high-performing, ambitious organisation.
