Overview
In this role you will drive the Intelligent Lighting Systems (ILS) growth by equipping dealers and specifiers with deep technical expertise to design and implement advanced lighting solutions. You will collaborate with specification sales teams and partners across the UK and Europe, continually expanding your technical knowledge through cross‑functional teamwork. You’ll translate customer needs into robust applications and influence product development with feedback from the field. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role in a technology‑driven, growth‑focused environment.

Responsibilities
- Drive growth in the ILS business by supporting opportunities across Orluna and Ketra products
- Equip dealers, specifiers, and customers with technical expertise through training, consulting, and solution reviews
- Develop unique product applications using existing products or with Engineering/Product Management collaboration
- Serve as technical expert, documenting solutions and validating sequences of operation against customer requirements
- Act as voice of the customer to influence product development and engineering feedback
- Support marketing and engagement activities, including tradeshows and creation of technical collateral
- Deliver in‑person training at Lutron Experience Centres and in the field
- Ensure dealer showrooms meet quality standards for ILS solutions
- Travel regularly to support customers, partners, and events
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or related technical discipline
- Extensive experience in the lighting industry
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to present complex concepts
- Strong technical writing abilities
- Excellent communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel 50% in the UK and 20% in Europe
