To provide robust IT and cyber security support for the Club and Community Trust, both during the working week and on match days ensuring 100% network uptime, secure systems, and smooth IT operations. This role supports the IT Manager in delivering technical assistance, troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance, with a focus on both security and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support
- Act as a first point of contact for IT queries, resolving issues directly or working with vendors for resolution.
- Ensure user satisfaction through efficient problem-solving and proactive service delivery.
IT Asset & Resource Management
- Maintain accurate records of all IT hardware, software, and licenses.
- Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, including laptops, firewalls, and user group management.
Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain IT documentation, policies, and training materials.
- Deliver training sessions to staff to support new systems and processes.
Innovation & Automation
- Develop and implement process automation and workflow optimisation via cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
- Participate in IT Labs initiatives to trial and roll out new technologies.
Cyber Security
- Support network security efforts in line with NIST (or similar) frameworks.
- Help ensure compliance through monitoring, prevention, and staff awareness.
Software Development (Support Role)
- Assist with early-stage requirements gathering, testing, and user training.
- Provide light programming input (JavaScript, Ruby) where applicable.
