What you will do:
- Maintain an Estate, Gardens and Golf Course as instructed by the Estate Manager
- Understand and be aware of the history of the Estate, including architects and landscape gardeners and how they have influenced and developed Luton Hoo
- Assist with ongoing project work across the Estate including hard and soft landscaping
- Ensure that the Estates responsibilities for all Health and Safety aspects are maintained
- Assist with the development of turf culture, hedge cutting and the pruning/training of ornamental trees and shrubs and climbing plants in many styles
- Planting and aftercare of various trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants as instructed by the Estates Manager
- Cleaning snow from driveways, patios and steps and the spreading of salt as required
- External building maintenance, gutter clearing, drain clearing, refuse collection
