Are you ready to play a key role in an organisation driving change and delivering Luton’s bold 2040 vision? Luton Rising – the Luton Council-owned company that owns London Luton Airport – is seeking a talented and creative Social Media & Sponsorship Officer to help us tell our story and grow our impact.
In this exciting role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to create engaging content, deliver impactful campaigns, and activate high-profile sponsorship opportunities. You’ll help boost our brand presence, connect with our communities, and ensure our business interests are always strategically supported.

What You Will Do
- Develop, Manage, and promote Luton Rising’s social media—plan, produce, and schedule high-impact campaigns to drive awareness and engagement.
- Serve as our brand guardian—create compelling content at sponsored events and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- Track and report on campaign and event impact—with insights presented to senior leadership and the board.
- Act as a marketing advisor—supporting internal communications and ensuring the brand remains positively represented.
- Manage our photo and video asset library, ensuring data protection compliance.
You will also be part of events, sometimes lifting gear or attending evening/weekend activation days, to help bring the brand to life.
Please note this role does not attract sponsorship.
About You

- Proven experience in communications or marketing—especially social media content and video creation/editing.
- Strong skills in compelling visual and written content, campaign scheduling, and brand consistency.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and reporting abilities—comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently across competing priorities.
