We’re looking for a dedicated Customer & Client Officer to join our team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of outstanding services across the borough.
As a Customer & Client Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, colleagues, and external agencies. You’ll need to communicate clearly and diplomatically, always maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer focus.
You’ll use your strong administrative and IT skills to manage information, produce clear reports, and handle financial and resource data with accuracy. Working both independently and as part of a team, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring smooth, efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively and politely with customers, colleagues, and external partners
- Produce clear written records, reports, and correspondence
- Use IT systems, including databases, spreadsheets, email, and word processing tools
- Handle financial/resource calculations and performance data
- Organise your own workload, meeting deadlines and service targets
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
- Promote and uphold equality and anti-discrimination practices in service delivery

- Can occasionally work outside normal office hours and travel across the borough as needed
