Applications and Proposals Engineer required for an industry leading engineering company. This is a great opportunity to join a company who work with many of the world's leading blue-chip companies within various industries including power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, commercial construction and infrastructure, water and waste, recycling, and general manufacturing.
This Applications and Proposals Engineer role is focused on the development and presentation of technical business proposals. You will lead and take ownership of the enquiry to quote process, responsible for defining solutions, producing initial hand sketches/designs, preparing estimations and quotations.
The Applications and Proposals Engineer Role:
- Take ownership of inbound enquiries from receipt to quotation
- Review of specifications, drawings and requirements
- Development and presentation of proposals that meet or exceed customer criteria
- Acoustic and ventilation calculations to define compliant solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, design and supply chain
- Development of relationships with new and existing accounts
- Updating CRM database – working with Salesforce
The Applications and Proposals Engineer Candidate:
- Experience in a similar role – applications, proposals, or technical sales
- Background in capital equipment such as HVAC, air movement, power generation or similar
