Head of Engineering required for a leading engineering company who are going through an exciting period of growth and succession planning. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader who holds a global reputation for the quality of their work. This role would suit an experienced engineer with experience in a senior leadership role. You will hold an engineering degree (or equivalent) and will need experience in manufacturing machinery or capital equipment. You will have a strong understanding of design processes and experience delivering projects to customers.
Head of Engineering Role:- Oversee the engineering team, design, compliance, controls, and commissioning
- Ensure machinery is designed to high quality and safety standards
- Identify new and advanced technologies for customer solutions
- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements
- Key point of contact to customers during services, installation, commissioning and general aftersales support
- Oversee compilation of technical documentation, including risk assessments and conformance
- Experienced engineer - degree qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience in a senior leadership role
- Understanding of design process of machinery or capital equipment
