CAD Design Engineer required for an expanding and well-established company. The company offers training on their products and services. Candidates need experience of 2D CAD sheet metal designs in construction, building services or noise control. You will create general arrangement and detailed drawings for Noise Control projects, ensuring specifications are met. The successful candidate will work within a small team and with clients to develop designs to meet project requirements. You may be required to attend site visits when needed; a pool car/expenses will be available. The role will suit candidates looking for a role in a growing company where you can add value and grow into an important member of the team.
The CAD Design Engineer Role in Brief:
- Produce 2D designs using AutoCAD and BricsCAD
- Review and update drawings based upon client comments/design changes
- Produce manufacturing drawings
- Produce installation drawings
- Produce parts lists
- Produce fixings list
- Attend site visits
- Assist with general office duties
- Liaise with factory to ensure smooth progress of manufacturing
- Attend site visits when required
