Production Planner required for a reputable manufacturing company located in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly company of approximately 100 members, who are part of a wider international group, offering long term job security.

This role would suit candidates with experience in a planning role. You will have experience working in a manufacturing / production environment and have experience working with MRP systems.

Joining an existing team of 3, the Production Planner will be allocated specific customer(s) and it will be your responsibility to convert their planned orders to production orders.

The Production Planner Role:

  • Checking for shortages at the time of conversation
  • Entering completion dates
  • Checking pick lists to ensure stock availability
  • Dealing with production and customer service enquiries

The Production Planner Candidate:

  • Experience in a planning role
  • Experience in manufacturing / production
  • Experience using MRP systems
  • Experience with Excel
