Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for an industry specialist within manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company who can offer job security and reliability.

The role would suit a mechanically biased engineer with an understanding of valves, pumps, motors, sprockets and chains. Joining a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and reactive maintenance when required on production equipment that operate 24/7. This will include working on bitumen blending tanks, high-speed lamination lines, and thermal oil systems.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role:
  • Reactive maintenance on breakdowns
  • PPMs on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, rollers etc.
  • Working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • MIG welding (experience not essential)
  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern
  • Involvement in project works
  • Support shift work when required to cover holidays
