Operations Manager required for a highly reputable company who specialise in metal treatment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to play an integral role within a company who are true market leaders.
The successful candidate can come from any manufacturing or engineering industry and will need experience working with manual processes. This role would particularly suit candidates with experience working in heavy industry.
Reporting into the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations and strategies of three sites located in Hereford and Shropshire, consisting of around 125 employees. You will oversee the company’s senior leadership team to develop and install business strategies, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the plants and special projects.
The Operations Manager Role:
- Travel between company sites located in Hereford and Shropshire
- Strategic management
- Operational management – ensuring H&S, environmental regulations, pest practices etc.
- Team Management – overseeing, mentoring and development of 5 direct reports and supporting employee engagement across the group
- Financial oversight – support with budgeting and financial reporting
- Oversee quality assurance to ensure high quality products and processes
