Location: Essex

Salary: £18.00 to £20.00 per hour, DOE + Regular Overtime (15–20 hours per week at 1.5x – OTE £65,000+)

Benefits: Company Van (personal use allowed), Fuel Card, Door‑to‑door Travel Paid, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Laptop

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week – up to 60 hours with overtime (paid at 1.5x)

Mechanical Plant Engineer required for an industry‑leading engineering specialist due to growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy company that can offer regular overtime opportunities for candidates looking to boost their earnings whilst focusing on a regional area.

The successful candidate will be an experienced mechanical engineer with experience working on hydraulics. Candidates with experience working on lifting equipment, plant machinery, forklifts or similar are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repair and service work to container lifting equipment across Essex ports. You will travel directly to customer sites from home and will act as a representative of the company in the region. The role offers regular overtime but has no requirement for call‑out or weekend working.
