Overview

Mechanical Assembler (Machine Build) – Taunton, Somerset

£18.29 Per Hour DOE + Premium Overtime Rates (5-10 Hours per Month) + Increasing Holidays (Up to 25 Days) + Bank Holidays + Free Parking + Sick Pay

37.5 Hours per Week – Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 13:30

Responsibilities

• Building and assembling special purpose machinery
• Working from engineering drawings
• Using hand and power tools
• Fitting bearings, taper lock pulleys and gears
• Working with hydraulic and pneumatic pipework
• Quality checks

Qualifications

• Experienced mechanical fitter / engineer
• Hold a mechanical engineering qualification
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Candidates will need to be a mechanical engineer with experience working in a technical assembly / machine fitting position
