Tendering Manager required for a leading engineering company due to continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a company who work within a variety of industries. This role would suit candidates with experience in a tendering focused role within an engineering environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the tendering process through the preparation of high-quality tenders, proposals and pricing schedules. You will work alongside a team of four within the sales team which will continue to grow with opportunity to step into a leadership role.

The Tendering Manager Role:

  • Preparation of tenders, technical proposals and pricing schedules for bespoke engineering solutions
  • Interpret customer specifications, drawings and tender documents
  • Confirmation of compliance and identification of risks
  • Produce clear cost estimates, aligning with company margins and commercial guidelines
  • Management of BID deadlines and support negotiations and project management

The Tender Manager Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar role – tendering, proposals, bids, sales etc.
  • Engineering background – industrial
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
