Inventory Controller required for a leading manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a reputable business who can offer security and stability.

This role would suit candidates with experience working within an inventory, stores, logistics or warehousing role. Reporting into the Production Supervisor, the Inventory Controller will oversee all aspects of inventory control, from receiving in parts through to finished stock. You will oversee all areas of the stores including packing and shipping, ensuring traceability via the company’s ERP system.

The Inventory Controller Role:

  • Oversee all aspects of inventory control including inventory checks, reporting of any variances
  • Maintain and manage store locations
  • Scanning of route cards and transfer of stock via ERP
  • Unloading of shipments using forklifts (electric counterbalance)
  • Visual checking of deliveries and checking quantities
  • Coordination of pick up times with logistics company

The Inventory Controller Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar role – inventory, stores, stock, materials etc
  • Experience in manufacturing, production or general warehousing
  • Experience using forklifts
  • ERP experience
